Terms of Use
The terms for using PaintGrid Studio.
Last updated June 7, 2026
Accepting these terms
PaintGrid Studio (the “Service”) is operated by Curiosell Systems. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.
Beta status
PaintGrid Studio is beta software. It is offered for everyday use, but it may contain bugs, behave unexpectedly, change without notice, or be unavailable from time to time. Features available today may be modified, limited, or removed as the Service develops.
Your images and content
You are responsible for the images you upload to, or use with, the Service. You must hold the rights needed to use any image you provide, and you confirm that doing so does not infringe anyone else’s rights or break any law.
Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- upload or process content that is illegal, or that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others;
- use the Service to produce material that is abusive, harmful, or otherwise unlawful;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, attack, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or the infrastructure it runs on.
Generated output
Designs, numbered outlines, color legends, shopping lists, and other files the Service produces are provided on an “as is” basis. Results depend heavily on your source image and the settings you choose, so PaintGrid Studio does not guarantee any particular outcome — including exact colors, perfect print quality, or paint-matching accuracy.
Always review an output, and test it where it matters, before relying on it — especially ahead of a large or costly print run.
Intellectual property
You keep whatever rights you already hold in the source images you provide, and you remain responsible for them. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your images to us.
The PaintGrid Studio name, website, software, design, and related materials remain the property of PaintGrid Studio and Curiosell Systems, and may not be copied or reused except as these terms or applicable law allow.
Digital products, payments & delivery
The Studio is free to use during the beta. Some products — such as Starter Pack 001 and the planned Studio Export Pass — are paid digital downloads. They are delivered as digital files only (printable PDF and PNG). PaintGrid Studio does not ship a physical kit, paints, brushes, canvas, or any other physical item.
Paid products are sold through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which handles checkout and acts as the merchant of record for the sale. The price is shown before you buy. While a product’s checkout is not yet live, its button is a placeholder and nothing is charged — see the Pricing page for current status.
Unless a product states otherwise, purchased kits are licensed for your personaluse — printing, painting, and gifting. They may not be resold or redistributed as files, and a commercial-use licence, where offered, is a separate option. We curate pack artwork from images we are permitted to use and do not claim ownership of any underlying source photograph.
Refunds
Because digital downloads are delivered immediately and cannot be returned, sales are generally final. If a file is faulty, will not download or open, or was purchased in error, email support@paintgrid.studio within 14 days of purchase and we will repair the file or issue a refund. Where consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights, those rights still apply.
No warranty
The Service, and everything it produces, are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. PaintGrid Studio does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it is fit for any professional, commercial, or print-production purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Curiosell Systems will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for costs arising from your use of — or reliance on — the Service or its output, such as printing, material, or shipping costs. The Service is a tool to help you prepare designs; checking the final result is your responsibility.
Changes to the Service and these terms
We may update the Service and these terms as PaintGrid Studio develops. When a change to these terms is material, the “Last updated” date above will change to reflect it. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
